Our Creamed Honey has a soft texture and is rich in flavour which makes it an absolute favourite, even for those who are not the biggest fans of raw honey. After being harvested each year at the end of May, it is carefully filtered and undergoes an exclusive creaming process. This honey has a relatively high glucose content, making it the ideal snack during work or study hours.
Creamed Honey goes well with some fresh sourdough bread or combined with strongly flavoured food such as mature cheeses. It will enhance food characteristics and add weight to the combined taste.
When stored in cool and dark settings, this raw honey holds for decades. Heating is not advised since it can lead to loss of texture.
Raw honey does not contain any additives and is 100% pure honey. Which is why it sometimes starts to crystalize at cold temperatures. This is not a sign of poor quality! As a matter of fact it's the opposite.
